Calculator inputs

Our GPA calculators perform calculations in your browser. The calculator code does not send the course names, grades, credits, or GPA values you enter to our servers. You do not need an account to use the calculators.

Storage and cookies

The calculators automatically save your entries and settings in local storage in your current browser, separately for each calculator. This includes course or term names, grades, credits, GPA inputs, and prediction settings. Saved entries are restored when you return using the same browser and site address. They are not uploaded or synced to other devices. We do not set application cookies for this feature.

Use “Clear saved data” or confirm “Reset” / “Start over” in a calculator to clear its saved entries and reset the current calculation. You can also remove saved entries through your browser’s site-data settings. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see saved entries, so clear them on shared computers. If browser storage is blocked, full, or unavailable, you can continue calculating, but entries may not be saved. Browser settings, private browsing, or clearing site data may remove saved entries.

Website requests

When you visit a website, your browser sends technical information needed to deliver it, such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser information. Hosting and network providers may process this information to deliver and protect this website. This is separate from the values you enter into the calculators.

Student information

You can use the calculators without entering your real name, student ID, school, or other identifying information. Course names are optional. Schools and institutions should avoid entering identifiable student records into this public tool.
